The holes are already oversized. The hinge bolt is significantly smaller. So I assume the fill and drill method. I am contemplating gluing in some tubing. This epoxy that comes in the kit is some really hard stuff so it may be tougher then an aluminum bushing.

I was guessing 4 or 6, I guess 4 works better for the bends, and the stitch & glue method along with the opposing arcs gives it plenty of strength.
Thanks again friz!

I'm amazed how strong the structure is- when attempting to place the floor on the shell by myself, I accidentally dropped the extremely heavy floor into the shell and was amazed that there was no damage.

Agreed, The strength to weight on these structures is amazing!

Found some lights that are a good fit. Definitely need a dimmer. These are a little bright.

Bright can be good. Looks like they might work really well for the lighting the galley work surface. Where'd you get them?

A dimmer is a great idea! Also depending on the color reflectivity of your interior you might want more light than you think, or in my case(glossy white) way less. Those lights look like they were made for that spot!

Your build will sell more CLC tears than their website. You are a craftsman with the medium and now I am considering one as a future build. I am a big fan of WoodenBoats and their lines. My first teardrop build will be Old School and heavy because I plan to haul a lot of Iron and will basically be sleeping in the Chuck Wagon.

I got KingAirNeal to bring you a few more tons of likes for me.

Thanks for the kudos. Truthfully, this medium is pretty forgiving. I would never attempt this without a kit. CLC'S parts are a perfect fit.
