Info about vintage a-Frame pop-up

Postby bubba007 » Tue Mar 07, 2017 2:13 pm

I've tried searching the Interweb, but can't find any info. I'm hoping someone here can provide some (admittedly trivial) info.

In the early 1970's we had a family camper that I remember as being made by Fisher (of snowplow fame). it was a steel-shelled pop-up Aframe that weighed a ton (more actually). When set up it looked like a current a-liner or Chalet

I can't find any evidence that any such camper ever existed on the web.

Have you checked with the folks at Popupportal.com ? There are folks there with a lot of old camper knowledge.

So I have an Aliner and your post got me curious. Don't have time to research now but a quick search turned up this info. You've probably already read it but thought I'd post anyway. Your memory about Fisher making a camper seems right. Now I'd like to learn more. Anyway, here's is the mention, in post #6:
