As I was building my teardrop, I realized I didn't have an indoor place to store it while I was working on it.
SO...
I went to harbor Freight and got a big poly tarp (a silver one) and draped it over that. Then I realized my trailer wasn't much more than a shaped box, and I know how to wrap a Christmas present so I started forming it to fit the trailer.
I then thought I could trim off the excess, so with my trusty Harbor Freight scissors, (hey, they came free with the purchase of the tarp..) and a roll of duct tape, I made a cover that fits like a glove!
I replaced the cheap duct tape with good gorilla tape, reinforcing the corner points.
I'm sure you could do about the same thing. it might last all of 2 or 3 seasons, but once you've made the first one, it's easy.
and if it works, it's NOT stupid.
