Gatherings

Postby mikeschn » Tue May 02, 2017 5:34 pm

Is anyone interested in collecting all the information about gatherings for us?

As you know, Grant has retired, and he's not posting the gathering information any more. So we need someone who loves to collect this kind of information. You can post all your information in a thread which we would set up, and link it to a link up there in the header.

If anyone is interested, pm me... http://tnttt.com/ucp.php?i=pm&mode=compose&action=quotepost&p=1203537

Why reinvent the wheel? Just direct members over to the tearjerkers site. And add to that calendar. http://tearjerkers.net/new_forum/Calendar.html

Some gatherings are not via Tearjerkers.

I think it would be fun to do, but with my attention span I'd forget to keep it updated.

We're happy to add non-TearJerker events to the calendar and map, and we're already set up to do so. On the calendar, TearJerker events show in maroon, and non-TearJerker events show in yellow. Unfortunately I have no way to differentiate them on the map, but all events do show up on the map, and more info is available by clicking on each marker.

We already have a bunch of Colorado events listed, which aren't affiliated with the TearJerkers, and also a Tiny Christmas Gathering in Florida which is non-TearJerker.

People can either PM me here, PM me on TearJerkers, or send me an email ([email protected]) with event info (gathering name, location, dates, and link or event contact information). Just put something like "Teardrop Calendar", "TearJerkers Calendar", or "Gathering Calendar" in the subject line.

As Grant would say..... Cheers! :D

Thanks Zach,

I've added your calendar to the gatherings link up there in the menu under TD Friendly Websites... 3rd item down...

Here's a quick link to the calendar: http://tearjerkers.net/new_forum/Calendar.html

I noticed your email is under the map too, so that should work well. Anyone that wants to add gatherings to the calendar can just email you, right? ;)
