2017 beat the heat meet and greet !

Hello from the hills,. Talked today to the campground management and they said the campground is open,,,. All is a go for the "Beat the heat " Campout. Still a few patches of snow on the ground here and there but should be gone by the time we get there. There are a few spaces still open so if you're interested in coming now is the time to get your reservation in. See you there Joe



We are opening up registration for this event today. There is still quite a bit of snow at the campground but with the hotter days the snow should melt in time. To register send us an email and we will send you the form. There is room for only 20 Trailers so respond early . You can p.m. is here or click the email bottom on our Facebook page


Come join us June 30th- July 4th, 2017 in the High Sierras of central California for a "Beat the Heat Meet and Greet" at Lodge Pole Group Lake Alpine campground ( http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/l ... rkId=70688) . This is off of scenic Highway 4, ( http://scenic4.org) just past Bear Valley and near Lake Alpine.( http://www.lakealpineresort.com ) It is Sure to be a great time in the great outdoors .. The area features kayaking, fishing, hiking and more with stores and restraunts near by. It is a great area for outdoor activities. This is disperced camping in a large group campground with toilets and water. It is $40 per trailer for the full event. Big thanks for putting together the gathering. I hope to come and explore an area I've never been to before. Checked driving directions on Google Maps. It'd be about a 312 mile drive to get there. Could be a doable one day long drive or two easier day's driving.

Darn, not going to make it this year. Just inked the deal on a new place in Bishop. Have to drag stuff up there, be on site for permits, solar write offs, shed, carport.... BUT we are going to make Hermit and Mill Pond for sure. So you there.
