The lighter the canvas, the easier it is to apply ... easier to “wet out” ..

Would you recommend linen fabric made from flax fibers or what would be your minimum canvas thickness and cotton content over 3mm ply?

Linen fabric is more durable than the cotton fibers.. Stronger too ... more expensive ... Being that either will be sized to the job (weight) , and painted , there shouldn’t be much of a difference...

Heads up;

Unprimed Cotton Duck Single Fill Roll (7 oz.) 72" x 30 Yards on sale for $89.99. That adds up to $2.99/yard. If you try to plug in the discount code YEAR2015 it won't give you the 10% discount, but it will give you free shipping.

I think having a brain fart:
Ok y'all when applying the PMF, we're putting it on foam===>glue===>covering right?

So the TB2 soaks in to the canvas from below? The reason I'm asking is i saw that big duck sells dyed canvas... I'm debating getting natural & painting over it, or dyed & just use the thinned tb2, hopefully not ruining the color.

Your thoughts?
