I guess now "the Cat’s out the bag" we can show how we knew all along that Foam was good for building things …Previous STRESS testing , such as a typical peaceful Sunday morning with friends , testing the Durability of Foam ( same foam we use for trailers , only thinner ) 8) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KNYsaiBbOg&t=2s

About 15 years ago I was seriously into what was then the revolutionary world of electric R/C aircraft (seems trite now, huh?) One of our little group was an engineering student at the UWisc, who built a plane out of 1/4" foam panel...

...with a *56-foot* wingspan. As revolutionary as foam is, brushless electric motors are equally as astounding. And the cherry on the sundae? He designed it so it could be taken apart and stored in his tiny dorm room!

VG, we’re no longer as active in RC electric Foamies as we were years ago either . But we still keep a hand in it to enjoy the evolving technology … We always felt confident in Foamie Trailers , because we didn’t have to make them fly … Towing , No Problem eh !!! ;)
