Just a few small things this weekend, put some bungees across a shelf that kept spilling out. Re organized the galley. Seasoned a new cast iron grill pan. Did a deep cleaning of the galley.

Nancy sewed Kedar rail strips on to our three Kelty Car Tarps. We have Kedar rail on three sides on Compass Rose and the flexibility of having different tarps that can be put in various positions is great. The big one is 14' wide at the widest and 14' long with netting, the others are car tarps.

Yay ! Hope you did well. (We had Tag Soup this year, with Chanterelle mushrooms what we found instead)

For my trailer, I had bigger fenders put on, and upgraded from 12" to 15" wheels a few weeks ago. Yesterday the new spare tire carrier went on (the old one held the 15 just fine, but with only 3" ground clearance).

Well, over the last couple of days, I finally put the third coat of paint on the PMF. Permanently installed the power meter with a 2 way switch so I can monitor power from the solar panels when they are on, and power demand when they aren’t. Got some touch up paint and touched up a few things.

I pulled my fat trailer out of my side yard to slip my little moto trailer in behind the fence since winter is on her way . Took it to the weigh station to see how much of mommas stuff is still packed inside while the home is being built

7600 k in the trailer

Then Slipped her back in the side yard for a few more months

My trailer, the 1/2 Nelson Woody, is now being stored in my sweetheart's garage. I took the tongue off, backed it up as far as possible against the rear wall, hung a rubber ball with a string to bump into her windshield so she can stop just short of slamming into the TD. Teardropping after 85 years of age is becoming a real chore, and it looks like it might be time to lighten the load and get rid of all 3 of my special home builts. We plan on making Lake Perris again this year, well see.

I returned mine to the garage after the trip to Ohio and back.
I also put the new registration sticker on it.

OK, let me think.........Oh yeah, I'm in Fl and my 90% completed build is in a garage in OH. So I once again (for the fiftieth time) reviewed in my mind how the door & hatch seals are going to work when I install them in the spring. And once again (also for the fiftieth time) tried to get my leader to tell me what she wanted for a final color(s). Then I put it out of mind and went to the beach, where we split a bottle of white wine, and a big ol slab of real key lime pie, and thought about nothing at all. Ain't retirement grand? :wine: .............jd

After 5 years I painted over the primer on the interior and made the walls all one color!
