If a small scale test looks good, step up and do a larger scale test; sometimes results change with scale.
Noted, and agree -- testing will surely happen.
Also, I am building a bit heavy, no need for resin/composite strength. All the fabric/topcoat for is water/ UV protection.
My walls are 5/4" thick solid, and the roof will be curved wood.
I'm actually considering 1/2" conduit spars for strength and the fact that they will never warp or bow.
I'm going to try some 7/16" dowels in the ends, and then mechanical fasteners.
Not sure if that will work well or not, but I'm going to give it a try and do testing (like on the fabric) before committing.
