Pretty much any solar charge controller has a 'load' terminal on it. It seems people don't advise connecting anything other than minor loads like lighting to it. What is everyone's experience?
Reason I ask is - I have a nice MPPT controller rated for 30A. it has a bunch of charge state and load displays which aren't useful unless the load is attached to that. I'm just concerned I'd be putting my DC/AC on that single point of failure and possibly euchring my charge controller as well if it fails.
Thoughts?
