I like your bubble door windows, did you make them yourself, how?

They are the glass lids from old electric frypans I picked up from a Salvation Army thrift store for $2 dollars(for both) removed the handles and filled the holes with Kristal kleer epoxy resin (it aint clear too many air bubbles)I rebated them into the door with sealant and fitted the ply ring over the top so they will never move.

k1, very clever  on making the windows using the lids.. I like them.. and re-purposing something like that is great..
Are you going to have any windows that will open for ventilation?
Some on here have made Wiley Windows, that seem easy to make.. Not sure where I saw the post on here, maybe someone else will read this and help out with where to find the post..

I’m putting a caravan vent in the roof and I’ve repurposed some cpu fans to provide air circulation within the cabin drawing air from outside.
I’ve started to get the outside sealed up. I’ve double lapped the joint between walls and roof and now I’m applying a water proof sealer before undercoating. Sides will be varnished with a light oak stain

You're getting it done k1, You'll be camping before you know it.
When is the best camping season in New Zealand? I'm not familiar with anything there..
Here, our family usually waits til it gets cooler, starting end of August.. We don't enjoy it much when it's 98 degrees or hotter out..
maybe if we went somewhere it was cooler to camp, it would be ok.. :) Which is one reason to build a small camper, get out and do more..
I've noticed the wire spoke wheel in the back ground of the one picture.. what are they off from? Have 3 or 4 of those laying around here in an old storage shed.. not sure what the ones here are off from..

best camping time in NZ would be from november through to april which for us is late spring, summer, and early autumn. Our summers can get hot (up to 1oo*f) but not often. We tend to sit around 25 - 35*c (75-95*f) so good camping temps.
the wire wheels are just some wall hangers I got in a deal, don't know what they're off, probably early Ford, or if I'll ever use them.
PS your build looks awesome

i was thinking of adding one or both of these images(one each side) as a relief on the side of the camper just behind the wheel, no colour or detail just a cut out of shape and stained the same as the sides, your feedback would be helpful. or
