Status update...

I have the cabin and rear hatch lights wired and the tongue box all drilled for outlets and wire runs. Frigid temps have been keeping me out of the shop so little progress to show. Waiting for it to warm up to paint. Recently been working on ideas for the rear taillight trim. Latest sample below.

Simple name plate to replace factory name plate on the front of the tongue box.

After reading a positive review I picked up this product to expedite removing some of the VOC from the cabin. I’ll report back if it makes a difference.

Galley got an upgrade with a dual zone fridge/freezer cooler. This will be great for those extended trips.

I would like to hear how the Smelleze works. Reviews are all over the place.

I have been reading up on fridge/freezer combos. I have been looking for good testing on power use and haven't seen anything that seems reliable. The people selling them are saying 10-15 Ah per 24 hours. I've seen user reviews were they test them empty, and no mention of ambient temps over the test. Then there is the guy asking why his 100 Ah battery went dead in 24 hours.

I called Snowmaster and got some good info, he said he averages 30Ah per 24 hours in real use. That is a lot of solar panels to replace that, unless you stay in one place all day and have full sun.

Looking forward to test on the fridge too.

Finally able to spend some time in the shop and get the trim pieces cut. Still need to finish cleaning them up and get them painted. The trim pieces will be covered with black Raptor liner to match trailer frame. The name plate will be orange.

Front name plate along with the front and back side marker trim.

Left and right tail light trim. Light cut outs are slightly off center so it’s not your eyes playing tricks. That is how it worked out for galley hatch clearance.

Outside of some touch ups the painting is finished. Made some time to get the trim mounted the last couple of days.

Some pics to show...

Moved the SCAT out of the shop so I could open it up and let it air out. The smelleze hasn’t made a significant difference. Pick up the battery and finish wiring over the coming week. Need to shorten the safety chains also.

Used the camper for the first time. Overall the weather was terrible but we were able to test the climate right heater. It worked out great. Very cozy.

Watched RV on the iPad while it rained. The window worked great.
