Planning my trip back. Are you familiar with the road going north through Grouse Creek and Burley? Looks like a straight shot north to the freeway. Looks to be mostly gravel though.

Thanks, George.

I take that road often. This time of year should be good. If earlier in the year snow can cover it or still soft from the winter. I almost got stuck once. Washboards are usually not to bad and this early maybe they have been graded out. Gravel from Grouse Creek to almost Oakley. No gas until Oakley, or Burley for sure.

I was kind of thinking of going that way and swinging through City of Rocks.

Ok. Good to know. I was thinking maybe a drive through City of Rock too. Depends on when we finish the drive. If we can camp Saturday night near Lucin then that could be a go.

Maybe if everyone can fit in a 1 vehicle for the Friday event we can head out Friday afternoon.

Heading out Friday afternoon is my thoughts also. If any one can't meet us on Thursday would let them have a chance to meet up Friday.

Shop cats are cool.

How many of us are up to an Idaho Silent City of Rocks camp the end of Sep. or October? I will make reservations for a cool spot.

I would probably be able to make it for that. One trailer and a tent.

Hey Randy, Thanks for the trip. It was a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next one.

Thanks to everyone for the great conversations, company and drive.

Maybe I'll post a picture of the tie down of the gas cans for the drive home-They both made it back home. :)
