From one, hard to find, hit I've found on the web, and nothing on tnttt that I've found so far, the rule of thumb for converter-charger sizing vs total batt amp-hrs appears to be 10%. That is, if you have 220AH total in batts (2 x 6v golf cart batts) then your charger should be about 22-amp.
Is this true?
I'm thinking 220 AH batts and a 30A charger..seem reasonable? If the charger is scaled up to say 45A is there any harm to the batts?
The charger would be a smart-4 stage unit.
