I do it with a jumper from the trailer charge line to the running lights:

Thanks Oleg. It really is my time machine. When I step inside it reminds me of a simpler time. Someday, maybe I can put all those ideas into a Mid-Century house...

Wait a minute, a switch! Now I know what to do with that extra relay on the wireless key fob controller I just installed!
Thanks,

I got one of these:
Wireless Relay

Button A turns on all the porch-lights, button B now turns on the running lights. Just gotta figure out what C and D should do.

Myself, I would use one for my Diesel Heater and the other for my Cabin Backlighting

Hi Michael,

That is a real piece of art you have there (I've just been catching up on all your hard work) ....it's absolutely gorgeous.

Inspirational well done

Hey Larry, thanks so much! I never set out to create an art piece... I just wanted to camp! But thank you kindly for noticing.

One of those should operate the ejector seat for when things go horribly awry with your camping buddy.

You could use one for a panic alarm? You could also use one to control the interior/reading lights. Good Luck!

The idea of remote control is compelling. Tempting even. I have remote on these items:

- Furnace (On/Off Temp Control)
- Mechless Stereo
- Cabin Backlighting
- Glass Artpiece/Nightlight
- Fan

Now... Guess how many of those I actually use the remote on?

Zero.

I noticed this past weekend Carrie used the remote on the fan a couple times as we were watching a movie while it rained. I guess I care less about the "convenience" than I do having to keep track of them. They are never where you want them when you need them. I don't care enough about them in the real world application to figure out a good system.

Truth is, I'm literally always only a few feet away from anything I want to turn On or Off. Am I really that lazy?

They were a better idea in my head than in real life...
