Calling for 10 year and longer members

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Hard to believe it been over ten years now since I joined the fun.
It will be ten years for the teardrop hitting the pavement come July.
With two trailers, I only use the teardrop a few times each year mostly for gatherings.
Still toying with the idea of building a foamie that is more suited for back country roads.
Hence I still read the stuff of interest most days. :applause: 8) :D

Hey all! Joined in '04. I haven't visited much in recent years, but still have my three TD's. The first one I built is in rough shape, though.

May 2004, who knew it had been that long since I started my first build. Wow I have made so many friends, but it has been a long time since I was active. New restore project, so here we go again.

It's been quite a while, but I'm still out camping in my Desert Dawg. I've drug it all over Nevada for the last 10 years exploring old mines and ghost towns. It's really made those adventures much more enjoyable.

I recently had an incident where a powerful gust of wind caught my hatch and blew it straight over the top of the trailer destroying the hatch and crushing everything on top of the trailer (antennas & the roof vent). It it time for a bit of a rebuild anyway since I've had some water leakage and fiberglass delamination. And of course, a new hatch. My website is in desperate need of an update so I'll do that as part of the rebuild. I'm thinking of filming the updates and pitching them up on YouTube just for grins.
