Just use 3M masking tape. I would use fine line tape on the acrylic because it bends easier, then mask the rest. I really think if you make the grey go away you'll hardly notice it's not factory. Black it out and move on with your life. Lol. Good luck my friend.

Oh hey, can you take an Exacto knife on the inside and trim the excess butyl first? Then on the outside when you mask a line you can run it straighter and not have as much area to cover. Does that make sense?

Thank you, I may try to do a camping trip or two before covering it with tape just to make sure it is truly dry, I just did a test with a garden hose and spray nozzle.

It was leaking at first but I tightened a couple screws a little more and added more butyl tape at the edge and it stopped the two leaks.

Well, I have now lost track on how many times and which windows I've done what on. It's crazy that I've had so much trouble on both. As of late, we camped through the weekend with two storms rolling through, with no leaks. I am convinced it has to do with the expansion rates of dissimilar materials, combined with the twisting and flexing associated with expansion and contraction of the coach itself. These windows are not constructed to take the movement. For now, we are dry...
