Hi all home builders out there
I was wondering if their is any "Widget" plans in metric?
Can anyone tell me the structural strength of timber used in the construction of the Widget (Australia uses a "F" grading system)
Any other info would be good too.
Have been looking at this site doing my home work and now looking at starting at the end of the month.
So any info would be beneficial.

Greg I would suppose that one could find a conversion system and simply enter the feet and inches and convert the whole spec sheet . The alternative ,mate , and easy way , would be to go on Amazon and buy an American tape measure in feet and inches . I know it seems foreign but it is really quite simple else us Americans wouldn't be able to master it . Lee

The problem with our tape measure, is "fractions".
I am beginning to see jobs on Craigslist for trades and light industrial manufacturing that now specify the applicant must pass a tape measure test. This was a skill kids previously learned in grammar school. Our school teachers have failed our children.
