Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

Spent last week Elk Hunting. This year the Elk prevailed. We had a good time and all kinds of weather. Started out sunny, rained, sleet, hail, wind, snow. Stayed nice and toasty in the trailer. Kind of tinking I want to remove the chuck box off the counter and build an upper cabinet to hold all of the kitchen stuff.

Looking at your photo with the tire tracks in the snow pulling a trailer puts fear in me … LOL!

My Silverado pickup truck with 4WD easily gets stuck in snow. With a trailer it would be worse.

No camping. No trailer work recently. I did make some biscuits and bacon egg cheese biscuits!

I really need to do something to my trailer going to get fat cooking!

Made a chocolate pecan skillet brownie. We make this in the dutch oven when camping.

Haven't cooked a desert yet in our dutch oven. Looking at recipes right now.

I like to use liners when cooking deserts in the Dutch oven especially when using coals to cook with. Allows you to preheat the DO then add the liner with the mix in it. Then when done you can lift liner out and serve.

I haven't worked on the trailer at all this winter. Just haven't been motivated. I do have several projects I want to do. With the way the weathers been I probably should be camping!

I did decide to upgrade my propane bbq. I got tired of the two temps that my smoke hollow unit had. It cooked at Lava & surface of the sun. I wanted something with better temp control. I settled on the Q1200 by Weber. I also got the bbq cart and cover for it.

The bbq is great so far. No complaints. Easy to use and clean. After the grates cool down I have been removing them and cleaning in the kitchen sink with dawn and a standard scrub brush.

As for the cart/stand I'm not super thrilled with it. Super jiggly wiggly. Would have thought Weber would have done better. So I may ditch the cart for camp use. Another negative is its not easy to fold up or set back up with the bbq on it. So you have to remove the bbq.

I have been thinking about welding a chunk of 2" tube to the frame somewhere and building a removable table that I can use the BBQ and the Blackstone griddle on. Or I may do something different with the table top that I use off the side with the Etrack.Still undecided.

The bbq Cooks great!
