Winter plans

What are your winter plans , anybody camping ? Even if it's in the backyard.

I still need to add insulation under the floor but would like to test it out in the snow.

We have a camping trip planned for December before Christmas, to a state park in PA. The state park has electric, so we can run our baseboard heater. I’m currently installing a Propex so we can have heat off the grid, and will be hopefully firing that up for a trip in January.
My off-road camper build on an M116A3 military chassis:

Elk Camp started out wet and ended up snowy. We kept warn and toasty though!

It's finally getting cool enough to camp. We went to Lake Whitney State Park, TX, this past weekend:

Got reservations the week before xmas at Fort Pickens near Pensacola. However, not expecting that to happen since they got hit by hurricane this fall and have had some other hurricane weather pass thru since then. Right now the road is closed to just get to the campground (it's between the bay and open ocean). Even if they do get it ready, we are expecting there to be closure due to covid. Hopefully not, who knows.

Also have some plans at Gunter Hill near Montgomery, AL. thought we might check out some of the National Forest areas between here (TN) and Florida as well.

Hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable T-day weekend. :D

Gonna do our second close to home, two-nighter, this coming Sunday and Monday.
Koreshan State Park, Estero FL again.
It's tourist season, so weekend (Friday-Saturday) reservations are hard to find.
We're finally getting some fall/winter weather. A front came through this morning, followed by dryer, cooler air. Low 40s, maybe high 30s by Wednesday morning. Then another weaker front Friday or Saturday.
Hopefully, by spring, we'll be venturing further from home. The Florida Keys... Maybe north to see the leaves next fall.
I'm not going outside until the temperature is above my age.
