Construction adhesive and it fits pretty tight between the beams. The screws coming down from the floor also helped hold it while the glue dries.

Finished the front up this morning. Better pic.

Also did some "heat testing" today. It was 30° inside this morning.
Turned the heater on and it was 70° within a half hour. Floor temps were alot better, went from 32° to 56°.
Holds temps inside much longer.
After I turned the heater off, it stayed at 60° inside most of the day.

That is how I did my CTC except I used 2 inch Styrofoam. It does make a big difference even for cooling.

I've been wanting to make some sort of shelf in this unused space by the bed.
Image
Tried to find some containers but couldn't find any that size....
Until yesterday. I found these containers at Smith and Edwards.
Funny thing is I wasn't even looking .

Also tore down a entertainment center to haul off to the dump but decided to use this little section that holds CD's.
I can modify it to work with the containers.

Nightstand w/ storage drawers all completed.
They fit tight but need to come up with some sort of bungee to hold em in while traveling.

At first glance I thought the top was a skateboard deck lol

Further examination showed otherwise

Yeah they are nice to put things like flashlights, lighters, etc for a quick grab when you need em .
Also installed 4 coat hooks.

Over the weekend I fired up the electric heater, got it to 70° shut it off and spent the night inside.
Nice and comfortable.
Backyard camping at its best

Funny.... I plugged in the electric heater got it warm enough and gave me the same idea however, it’s been in the low 20”s at night so I wussy out.
