Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

I'm putting all my money into solar ie, 400 watts of panels, LifPo4 batteries and a 24 volt MPPT charger with 3000kv inverter. insulate the walls and roof, and some basic cabinets. then get a used couch to sit and sleep on. TADA.

I like to keep it simple! Simple is a relative term however... ;)

I'm curious, was the initial post made because you feel to much effort and skill are being put into some of the conversions or you feel that you don't put effort or skill into yours?

From your comments you will want to stay clear of my build log. When done it will set some new bars for over the top Insanity. The reason for my effort is that I am a 30 year union tradesman (carpenter) and a lot of what I'm doing is very basic from my view and experience.

This is not to say that I look down on any of the builds that people have done and are in the process of doing. As a skill tradesman I can appreciate the skill, time, and effort everyone puts into their trailer.
You hide your conversion and call it stealth. I put mine out in the open and give it a beer.

Wrecit, the initial post was motivated by my losing interest in the forum. I hated to just give up. Before doing so, I thought I would post one last time.

One goes to a forum to get fresh ideas, but 95% of the ideas on this forum offer too little bang for too many bucks (and hours of labor.) People are primarily interested in turning the conversion into a "labor of love." A cynic might say that people are just getting sucked into making the cargo trailer into an ego-monument. I am too cheap and utilitarian to get sucked into that!

I think the reason people "splurge a bit " on the interior is they dont have to build the walls and ceiling/floor. So they can go that extra mile.

Anyways let's see your build and remember lots of pics

You're at the wrong forum! People here have pride in their builds, and it shows in their workmanship. Head over to Cheap RV living and you'll find a ton of the disposable builds you're looking for.
