I've been trying to find it...electrical power chart...

Postby srfrcrux » Thu Sep 14, 2006 4:17 pm

Hello All,
I have been searching for an appliance power chart (generic) to use for a solar calculator... :frustrated: I thought I had seen one here, but now I can't seem to find it...

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks...

Here is another.

http://www.sunelco.com/power.aspx

You might explore this site there is alot of information about solar. This is where I started 8 years ago in solar. They also have a very nice catalog with the information in it and the forms to copy and fill out.

There are alot of websites scattered across the internet with this information on them in one form or another

THis is another information website to look at and read on and you can read online of their magizine is in most bookstores. See below site:

http://www.homepower.com/

Sorry about the incomplete information on what you where looking for earlier.

hello,
So, I have tried to crunch the figures...and I'm not really sure what size panel I need.
It looks like I come with 51 kwH a month... 1,702 watt hrs per day... (just an estimate)...
but what I'm not seeing: a 65 watt solar panel supplies how many watts an hour...?
I guess I need to do a more research :?
thanks again for all your help!!!

srf, a quick answer is 65w/hr...however that is theoretical and would probably be around 20-30 watts reliably...checkout some of the info contained in the solar section of this thread... click here

Trying looking here:
http://www.rvsolarelectric.com/sizing.htm

I have an 85W panel and its the perfect size for me. But, it all depends on what you're going to run. I certainly wouldn't go smaller than a 50W or you'll be disapointed in the performance.
