I was just wondering how far in advance gatherings are planned for the next year? And are they posted here most of the time?

Actually it seems most of the gathreings around the country get announced here, well in advance...the exception is on the west coast where they like to keep 'em secret until the last possible moment...check the events/gatherings page on the teardrops.net page for those (and others)....
