Just saw this on sale on the Harbor Freight web site. Looks like it would be handy way to make sure your battery is ready to go when you are.

I have a similar cut-off switch that I bought at an auto parts store. It is mounted by the battery in my tongue box.

I have my load and my charge lines on one side so I can disconnect both with one switch.

Works great. When I'm not using my TD I just turn it off and take out the key (velcroed to the top of the battery box) This insures that nothing will indivertibly run the battery down.

Gene, a lot of us use that switch (or something similar)...ours is the first thing that the battery feeds thru and gets turned off anytine the trailer is stored or is travelling completly eliminating the battery from the 12vdc system.........
