New TAB trailer next week

Postby new.granny » Mon Nov 13, 2006 9:33 pm

Hi all.
I'm "new.granny" and just had to tell someone that we ("new.grampa" & I) will be signing for our very first trailer next week. We can take it home as soon as we get the registration done and hopefully we can do that the same day.
I have noticed some posts regarding problems with TAB dealers. I would like to say that we have, so far, had great communication and assistance from out TAB dealer. He also runs a campground so maybe that's why.
Yes... I know it is POSSIBLE that things change after we sign on the dotted line, but I really don't think that is the case here.
Will attach a photo & send an update when we get it home to Massachusetts. :applause:

Sounds great. I like the TAB. What model did you buy?

We 're getting a white one with red trim. It's a T16-Q.
It has an and L-shaped galley and a queen size bed.

New.granny & new.grandpa will be very comfortable.

Welcome, Granny! But first...

Eric, has anyone veer told you that you look like George Clooney? Or has EVERYONE told you that? (I have a story about that regaring me--off topic, later.)

I saw my my first T@B last week, and they're really gorgeous. You're going to LOVE it.
Here we go again!

If there is anything this forum seems to promote it is envy.

If I had a back lot full of trailers, rest assured I'd have a TAB or a home built look alike in there somewhere.

I've gotten that a time or two, I really don't see it. I'd love to hear the story sometime.

The original aluminum tabs had a delamination problem. Not all of them, just some of them.

The Filon tabs fixed that.... and I haven't heard anything bad about the alufiber T@Bs yet.

Do you know if your T@B is alufiber or Filon?

Waiting for pictures too.

Mike...

Welcome New.granny! Yeah, another lady camper...

I got to see my first T@B up close last January. They are really great looking. Congratulations and many happy adventures camping in your T@B! :D

Auntie M,
Don't worry. I do have quite a few photos of our grandson Connor. In fact we might need to add on a room to the house to store all the pictures I have taken oe of him. (grin)
The plan is for us to pick up the TAB the day after Thanksgiving. I'm looking for a place to take it other than home. Maybe Normandy Farms in Foxboro. They have a nice rec room and indoor pool as a place to spend the day(s).
Does anyone have any other ideas of other places we could go that would have a nice place to relaz during the day while we are not inside the TAB?
We are located in Lexington MA and we're picking up the TAB in CT.

Bye for now,

Hi again,
We hit a small glitch with picking up our TAB the day afyer Thanksgiving :-(
Due to the holiday, the bank won't be ready with the paperwork till the following week. Not that log a wait, but we were planning to use it for the rest of the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope global warming hangs around here for another week or two.
Does anyone have any suggestions for destinations similar to Normandy Farms on Foxboro where there is an indoor pool & comfy rec. hall to spend time while not inside the TAB?
Thanks,
new.granny

:( I am sorry to hear of your delay. Don't know the area but I bet if you go to the General Discussion, you will get some answers. ;)

Good luck and have lots of fun. (that is anywhere warm enough to camp)
