Hello from Tallahassee ........

Greetings all ........

I guess I'll jump right in with a question (thats my nature)...... Awhile back on eBay I spotted a teardrop that was listed as a "Teardrop Camper - Motorcycle Trailer Combo". The way the thing was set up was, the center section of the galley/cabinet space folded back against the walls enabling a motorcycle to be put inside for transport. An air bag suspension was used allowing the thing to sit almost directly on the ground making a ramp unnecessary

Granted the unit would have to be substantially larger to accommodate this setup, but I would like to get some feedback from anybody that is aware of and/or and who would have the skinny on someone with knowledge of such a beast.

Peace -
Boris

P.S. Yeah, ok so I'm impatient too. : ) ....... I just read the thread from Gage and Erik the Red about the scooter hauler ........ Still if I could find some pics of the thing or something similar to start from, I'd appreciate it

Go back and check that same thread, Gage has popped a couple of pics in it.

Boris,

Welcome. It sounds like you're talking about this trailer:

You can see how the air suspension is used to lower the trailer for loading.

Now hopefully someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was East Coast Teardrops that made this trailer and, if so, they have stopped building following the death of one of the owners.

If yuo were hoping to copy this design and build it yourself, pm me your email address as I can send you 10-15 photos of it.

Hi Boris,

Welcome from another friendly Floridian. I'm from the West Palm Beach area.

There is so much information and comaraderie here on this site it is unbelievable. (Not to mention a fair amount of buffoonery :) )

I'm about 2/3 of the way through my first build, and probably would not have attempted it if it were not for the folks on this webpage  :applause:
