New Guy in Central MO

Postby Rich S » Sun Dec 17, 2006 7:58 am

Another new Guy. I have just finished putting together the HF trailer. It was pretty simple. I will make a few mods to make it stronger.
Right now I just have a stack of plywood and a head full of ideas. I hope you guys do not mind me stealing a lot of your designs.
Number one on my list is clean out the garage so I can get started. I will have a ton of questons in the near future.

Get your garage in order and read here and ask questions as the opinions
are many here. Help is just a click away.

Trailer plus plywood is a good start. :D

Welcome Rich,
Where in the Ozarks are you? I doubt if you will need to beef up the HF frame unless you are planning to copy Mike S.'s new plan.

Have fun and like the mad one said: :pictures:

Welcome and let's go camping!!! The Missouri folks are always welcome with the South Central group. We've had campouts at Knob Noster, MO and Grand Lake, OK this past year. Put it on your calendar now for ITG at Minden NE on June 13-17 and the biggest party of the year at Lake Bistineau, LA around Oct 27 next year!!!

We've talked about camping around the Ozarks in MO or AR or elsewhere in AR so you better join us !!!

Welcome Rich to the forum. As you see there are plenty of help and ideas to complete almost any idea you you might have in your build.
:applause:

I'm from the Fort Smith area and as you see the posts and pictures you have people close at hand to ask and to see in-progress and finished trailers.
:)

I know Madjack pictures, pictures, pictures  I'm guilty.

I would like to thank everyone for great welcome.
I live in Camdenton MO. on Lake of the Ozarks. I work on boats everyday and when I am off I want to get away and do something else.
My wife is a Nurse and if everything works out we will have weekends off together for the first time in over 20 years.
We love camping but we are a little tired of the old tent. We would love to meet up with all of you. I love cooking and had a strong Boy Scout backround. Scoutmaster, Explorer adviser, Cooking mert badge counsler.
Both sons Eagle Scouts.

I am still working on all the cra- in the garage. 15 years of junk. I hope after the holidays I can get going. My goal is having it functional by the first week of May.
Again thanks and I will get some pics soon
RICH

Rich, Welcome to the board. You live in some beautiful country. That historial museum in Linn Creek is where I went to school. I wont say how many years ago. Wife & I come down to the Magic Dragon show @ Bagnell Dam every year. If you see a 40 Chevy with a tear drop on it stop and say hello. Roger
