Gaston. On your list,
1 Yes it is heavy, but it is much more durable and scratch resistant.
2 Stainless is easier to keep looking good when exposed to salt air than Aluminum.
3 Yes it is pricey, but I will only skin it once and I haven’t cheaped out yet.
4 Yes it is sharp, but it doesn’t kink and ripple as easy as Al.
5 I think it looks much brighter year after year than Aluminum without polishing.
6 This trailer was built to outlast me...

MetalExpress is where I bought my frame material. I have one about three blocks from work but the site will quote for the material you discribe.
Example: stainless 60" X120" 24 gage .024 Cost $226.01 and weighs #50.4
