A Yoder Totin' I Will Go

Postby h2a2p » Wed Jan 17, 2007 1:49 pm

Well it's been awhile but I finally bit the bullet and scored me a yoder toter on ebay, a 5x8 silver shadow. kind of a spur of the moment deal... but i'm glad i went for it. reasons i went with it was, it was in my price range, it looks decent enough for me, seemed like people had positive reviews of them, and it was easy buying it on ebay. now i just have to make a little drive in a couple weeks to pick it up. can't wait!

this is the same one, if anyone wants to see it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-TRAIL ... enameZWDVW

i think the 'holiday edition' doesn't use anodized aluminum like their other ones? not sure what else might be different. i was also looking at their 'cargo version', basically the same thing but empty interior: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-CARGO ... dZViewItem

i thought the cargo model would be a cool base for building out your own interior / galley. but i don't even think i want to take on that project. so i went with the unit that's ready to roll. i have enough ideas for things i want to add and customize on it already so i think i will be busy enough.

Mike -

Congratulations on your new Yoder Toter! We have an identical model and just love it. We went camping last weekend - our sixth outing in "Schmoopie" - and are ready to go again. Don't be a stranger here on the forum, and, as Mad Jack says, "Don't forget da' pics!" See you up and down the road, huh?
