RV crazy movie

Postby mikeschn » Wed Apr 14, 2004 6:34 pm

I found this movie today. IT's called RV Crazy, and it was played on the discovery travel channel.

Be sure to visit Craigs Technology Solutions, and tell him thanks for making it available! :) http://www.twc3.com/DynaPage.asp?Pname=TDVIDEO001

RV Crazy

Nice site Mike. I recorded RV Crazy last month and watched in full after seeing it on Craigs site. Very cool teardrops, especially the "Cosmic" teardrop. Did I see Gages interior or was I mistaken?

Mike,

You might want to put this someplace else. so it doesn't get lost with all the post.

Not much, apparently. It "stuck" for a while, now it's moved near the bottom of the list.

Actually, I took the sticky off of it this morning, whereupon it promptly moved down towards the bottom. So what happens now, I wonder if I make it sticky again?

Yup just keep it sticky and it will stay stuck!

Thanks for posting the movie. It's great for those just discovering teardrops.

Got to see the gal with the spare tire/table... innovative!

Awesome, I just wish it were not so tiny and ultra compressed. Does anyone have a copy of this on video (it is not yet available from the discovery store) that can can copy and send to me? I will gladly pay for the tape and shipping. Then I can also record it in a larger, clearer format and post it on my site.

GOOD NEWS!

I just spoke to viewer relations for Discovery Channel (Travel Channel)

For anyone who missed RV Crazy (like me), there are several re-air dates coming

Monday June 21st - 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 (MST) Check you local listings
Sunday June 27th - 3:00 (MST) Check you local listings

This is great as they have no plans to release this on video, and the copy over at Craigs site is teeny tiny, and very super-compressed. Though it was still darn nice of him to make the effort.

So everyone make sure to have a fresh tape in the VCR! I know I will!

I am glad that every one has enjoyed the RV Crazy video that I have posted on my site. I am sorry that it is so small I chose to do that size for many reasons. It works ok with dialup connections and I don’t want a large video using up all my bandwidth.

I really do not want to get in trouble with the Travel Channel for having the movie posted on my website especially considering the fact they are not going to release it on VHS/DVD.

The Travel Channel is having fun airing this program this summer, but I don’t think the Travel Channel is going to mind the low quality streaming video of RV Crazy I have posted, however I might hear from the Travel Channel if I were to make the larger version available. I am not selling the video to anyone, I am not charging admission for anyone to view it, and it is of questionable quality. I am simply just revealing to the world my twisted love affair for the little round back buggies.

I simply recorded it to VHS then converted it into Digital Format that I could burn to DVD and post on my site.

Have your VHS and a Tape ready for the next airing.

P.S. While on vacation people bombarded me with questions about my Tear Drop and I found a Boat Trailer like the one in the RV Crazy video I have the trip documented with pictures posted on my website. Also the video plays best if you replay it after watching - this gives it time to completly download to Widows cache and it will play smother.
