Critter,
Try these two: www.teardropparts.com
www.teardrops.net/lilbear/parts.html
I bought my locking door handles from Grant Whipp @ the second website. They are lockable inside and out. You can also add a secondary sliding type door lock for the inside so the Boogeyman won't get ya while you sleep or whatever.

The types of handles Sierrajack gave links to are the more traditional style. There is also a flush mount handle that Mad Jack used, ask him about the security of that type. They look more secure but as most people realize, if someone wants something they will get it, all you can do is slow them down.

I bought this latch for mine only in chrome, They are very well built and have the inner and outer handle built in as well as a dead bolt. They seem very secure and werent that expensive,Mine cost around $30 and came with two keys. Aaron

I got those same ones, in white , but didn't get the plates and screws, got them on Ebay at a good price. Not keyed alike but I like the deadbolt idea... Seems strong so far,
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

More often than not, a hatch handle will look different and be keyed different than door handles. I bought 3 door handles from Grant and used one for the hatch. It may look different from what most use, but I'm OK with it and it's keyed alike.

If you're real concerned, consider a hasp with a padlock. Not pretty, but effective. I generally lock valuables (including guitar) in the car under a blanket.

Has anyone installed a car alarm on a trailer? I'm serious. Some have motion sensors and they all have those door button things that set off the alarm. That and a prominent sticker might do the trick....or just the sticker.
