Just wondering... was the trailer assembled properly?

If 2 axles were received and both did not fit, makes me wonder. I'd take a look and maybe loosen all the bolts and see if I could gain some movement in the right direction.

I had the same problem - make sure your trailer is square and I used a pipe clamp and drew the thing into alignment - NO PROBLEM.

Good Luck

I haven't tried loosening the frame bolts, then clamping the frame sides tight with a pipe clamp, and then re-tightening the bolts. That'll be my first step. I'll square the frame up better this time too.

I assembled most of the frame with crescent wrenches and open end wrenches. Took a full day. This time I'll use the new Sears Craftsmen metric socket set $> I bought. It'll be a time and knuckle saver and help me do a better job.

My expectation is it might reduce the frame width an eighth of an inch or so. Won't know till it's done.

Thanks for *most* of the tips guys and gals.

To check square, measure diagonals, opposite corner to corner....
