the vehicles are paid off, so fuel is more expensive right now per month. We're actually trying to sell the Torino, that will lower our fuel costs, but then again we are replacing it with a Hemi Magnum to cart the baby and the tear around with, so we won't gain too much in fuel savings. (i guess 22mpg is better than 15mpg :-P )
thankfully as for maintenance and repair costs, we've been lucky, the VW tdi gets an oil change every 15K miles and hasn't needed anything major since last summer. The torino has only had oil changes every 3k miles and new spark plugs and wires since we bought it. The Magnum shouldn't need anything for quite awhile that isn't covered by the warranty.
