License Plate and Light Combinations

Im ready to install a license holder or stand but I want somthing nostalgic or vintage instead of a modern looking one...

Do you folks have some nice ideas.. :thinking: :thinking:

Heikki, most of them are rather plain and not nostalgic about 'em...the best or favorite of mine is the type that looks like they were on an old style Beetle...I believe Grant sells 'em as do most any Beetle parts suppliers...I would think they would be available on your side of the pond.....

Madjack like this... Sold here in Finland... Thank You for the good tip..didnt even think of that.. :oops: :oops:

Its chromed and sells for 18.80 Euro. Not too bad of a price... Nice looking indeed Madjack..

Thank You Kurt.. The 2nd choice you show is about the same as the one Madjack likes for VW,s..Not much difference in price considering I dont have to ship from the USA...

Look Very Nice... How easy would those be to change over to LED?
Since I know (not much about electrical) :lol: :lol:

I have this in use as just a taillight and license light.
With a dual-filament bulb with the correct wiring, it could be a third brake light as well.

I just bought that exact same pair of tail lights from eBay vendor jandbauto30 for $50 for the pair - Shipping was very reasonable too at $9.95

I'm sure they are probably made in China, but the quality is excellent - All polished stainless and the lenses are real glass

Well I went and ordered the Vw Beetle license plate holder and light..
Should be here this coming week..

I reckon Madjack likes this model as well.. 8) 8) Do you folks think it could be changed over to LED some way?

Heiki,

They make replacement bulbs that are LED. Just take out the old one and put in the new LED one!!
