"Short cuts for camp cooks"

I found these old Hi Sibley Articles on "Short cuts for camp cooks" in an old Popular Mechanix magazine. Real Hi-Tech 1950s camping. The Coolers are really ingenious stuff.

I like the refrigerator ideas! I am planning to camp for a week without electricity in Algonquin in Sept. I was wondering what I would do after the ice melts! Maybe I will try one of these refrigerators for a few eggs and margarine.
