Analog Voltage Meter

Postby denverd0n » Fri Apr 22, 2005 12:55 pm

I would really like to find an analog DC voltage meter with a scale that runs from 10-14 volts. This would be the perfect range for determining battery condition. The best I've been able to find are ones that run from 8-16 volts. This is really a much wider range than necessary.

So, anybody have any suggestions where I might find such a beast?

Thanks!

I think you would have to go digital for that sensitive of a range for checking battery state of charge. I ran analog guage like you mention for over all battery voltage metering. If you read the spec's (tolerances) on the analog meters there are not that sensitive in range as a digital meters for presicion reading of voltage drops
