I've got one of these, a 2000 Suzuki Esteem 1600 cc 5 speed.
I put it on almost every work day and wear it to work. It is a great little car and the 45+ MPG is fantastic. I would love to find a hitch for it but they arn't available. While it may not like my 5x10 I know it would whiz around with Eggbert my motorcycle tear. It would be like having an extra trunk.

Oh, I got that... these micro-rigs always make me smile. I think that the 300 is even better in that way, since the 600 is almost a real car.

Philip, as noted by Jagular7 an Explorer Box might work for you.

At 400 lbs dry my Geo Tracker easily pulls it. Once I get the 4:1 low range gears in it, towing it deep into the woods will be no problem.

On the subject of morning coffee, I have that covered :D With your stove on your cooler on the front rack. Just reach out the window for coffee in bed :worship:

I have a 94 sidekick, manual tranny. I pull my TD with it. I am not sure the weight but guess about 875 pounds. It does stick up tall but i have lots of ground clearance, even for the rather deep footwell. I can tow it pretty good on the highway, about 65. If you build lighter and a bit shorter and keep off the very fast roads when ever possible. (which is why we have 4x4 and trailers made for off/rough roads, right) You should be ok. Or get yourself a 1600 cc motor and jam it in there. Oh, i made my tongue as short as possible to keep it in the wind shadow as much as possible.
