Gatherings in Kansas or Missouri

Postby Joshua » Thu Mar 06, 2008 2:29 pm

Just wondering if this group is getting together in Kansas or Missouri this year? I have just started my trailer, but am optimistic that I can complete by full fledged camping season and would like to make at least one gathering this year.

 Joshua, without a doubt we will have at least one more. We did meet at Lake of the Ozarks the past weekend. Really nice weather too.

Mike and I are talking about getting up your way so our children can join the fun. We are always open to suggestions.

Wish I would have checked this sooner. I did see the thread on that (today). It was great weather considering it is 38 degrees today. I will keep watching for anything to come up.

Camping in Mo/Kansas

Postby RAYVILLIAN » Thu Mar 06, 2008 4:18 pm

Gary and I and 2 other couples try to go camping once a month. We are tentatively talking about the weekend of the 29th going to LaCygne .. and maybe in April or May to Knob Noster. We also camp a lot at Watkins Mill State Park. We will be going to Petit Jean State Park in Conway Arkansas the weekend of the 20th of June. When we have any definite plans (the Petit Jean is definite) ... we will let you know a good week or so ahead of time so you can maybe plan to join us ... plus anyone else that wants to come along.

Another thought for Sept 25-28 is the "Last Gasp of Summer 2008" at Royal Gorge in Colorado. We'd love to see you, it is a fun gathering....

I sometimes meet friends, Paul and Lynn in KS and Julie in OK, maybe it will work out for you to join us!

Jewel

We were down around Skiatook Lake Tuesday scouting out camping opprotunities.
We would be interested if you get something planned around Tulsa or SE Kansas. We need a first outing for the TTT. Too much rain this week, so we left it at home.

Stay dry everyone.

I wanna go too!

Postby enigmak » Thu Mar 20, 2008 1:42 pm

If we could find someplace in Central Ks or Ok, I might be able to make it too! I don't know how far I want to try by myself for the first time out! But I sure would love to catch up with everyone!

Hey

I have friends in Skiatook. Say where and I'll try to make it, trailerless of course.

Why hasn't anyone found a dead bigfoot? When was the last time you found a dead deer, bear, coyote, fox, squirrel, etc. that died in the woods.........Hmmm.

Petit Jean State Park

Postby RAYVILLIAN » Fri Mar 21, 2008 7:09 pm

Hopefully you will all be able to come to Petit Jean outing the weekend of 20th of June. It is in North Central Arkansas ... by Conway. It is a beautiful park and appears to be a big group coming. For you newbies ... a chance to see some beautiful tears and meet a bunch of great folks. Trudy
