Cooler Near The Lake 3

Postby BrwBier » Sun Apr 27, 2008 7:55 pm

We survived, so now is as good a time as any to think about next year. As most of you know I would like the same location. That is not set in stone but it worked and is my first choice. If you have a good alternative, state your case and lets discuss it. One thing to keep in mind, Wisconsin State Park sites can be reserved 11 months in advance. Acording to the lady in the ranger station this morning many locals were disappointed about not getting the site they are used to getting. They might not let that happen again so we might have to supprise them and reserve early. Just a thought.
Thanks to everyone this year and I hope to see you all again.

Looks like ewe'uns had a great time. Wish I coulda been there, but eventhough I'm in Indiana in central time (as opposed to normal Indiana Slow Time), it's 300 miles to Chicken-in-the-car, car-gotta-go, that's how you say Chi-car-go from this end of the extreme south of Hoosierland.

Oh well! I gotta finish a class tomorrow (calculus of variations)--so maybe next year Iff'n I'm still in the midwest or maybe later this year on a hopeful move to the Green River. Nevertheless, look for we,uns in the Brown County Pictures in three weeks.

Great pics. Ran through the slideshow on photoshop.

Sounds good Bob. I like Kohler Andrae... the shelter is nice and close to the sites.

Pick a date... i'll make my reservations right away!

Thanks again!

We thought it was a great place for a group gathering too, and that shelter was wonderful.

Don't think it could get much better than this place, especially with the weather uncertainty this time of year!
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

I would be happy to go back to Kohler again. Without that shelter we would have had a tough time.

We certainly will be there. This time we will go for the circle with the flush toilets. :woohoo:

Consider your self bribed. I propose having it the same as this year, the last weekend of April. That is the 24-25-26. See Cold ,windy and rainy by the lake recipes! for the beer you are being bribed with.

Are we sure we don't want to do a Warmer in the Wood Gathering  with a dark creamy earthy flavored beer?

Kohler is nice. Where is that 2009 calendar?

All though I'm all for moving around and seeing new areas, I'll go with the majority and camp where ever you decide. Let's not kick this around too long, so we can get our sites nailed down. Same time and place as this year is fine with me.

I think we agree....we enjoy variety but willing to go with majority. It was a great turnout this year for the kickoff of camping season.
