Constuction? NO SH#^! Believe it or not I did know it had something to do with CONSTRUCTION! The road has been shut down since last spring and I would like to stop hitting the detour or going around it all together as soon as possible and thought (God help us) that Kurt might know what they were doing that was taking them this long and when it might be opening back up so I could start using that rout again.

The Deepest spot in Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes is 1,333 feet or about 222 fathoms. This profound depth could easily contain the entire 1,250' Empire State Building, even with a 50-foot-tall King Kong perched atop.

Kurt,

Most other people would simply say they are fixing a bridge and it should be done at the end of October. Then again your detailed analysis may be why you are always able to provide us with such good weather for our camping weekends. No complaints here. :applause: :applause: :applause:

Nitrox..Don't mind me, sometimes I just have to make a smart a$$ comment. It's all in fun.

That's a whole nuther subject. Can't have a construction project with less than 5 people standing around looking in a hole. I thought in retirement I might get a job as a hole looker. Do they really pay people to do that?

Those jobs are getting tough to get with the slump in State and Federal funds. The economy is SO bad that you only see 4 or 5 guys standing around instead of 10. :(
I'm tellin' ya; things are tough

That's OK Scott, I was only talking about "road crews". Besides, it was only a joke I heard on Jay Leno. (have to blame it on someone)

The weather sounds great as usual Kurt. Are you planning to get there Thursday again? Cindi and I hope to get there early on Friday.
