Converting Cargo Trailers into TTTs

RV windows

Postby drcurran » Sat Oct 18, 2008 7:48 pm

Couple of quick questions. Windows! I need 2 18" X 18" for my Cargo conversion. I've checked a couple of places but no luck so far. I'd like to find one of these places where they have surplus and price the extras "right". Also, is there an advantage to vertical slider versus horizontal? Thanks for any help.

Dan: :)

To give you a starting point:
Go here > http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?t=12276
The forum index and search on Windows.

Maybe someone will come along from your area and point out a salvage yard
for trailer parts or look in your local directory.

Best of luck.

Dan,

I presume you've checked and have 24" stud spacing? If it's 16" you might be better to go with narrower windows and avoid cutting studs.

18x18 Windows

Postby Prem » Tue Oct 21, 2008 2:17 am

I got all mine on eBay. Just do a search on eBay for: RV Windows. I got two white, brand new, 18x18 sliders for my new teardrop project for under $60 each.
