While at Salamoni some of us had a brief discussion on charcoal. For anyone that is interested you may want to read The Tao of Charcoal Even if you are not interested in the finer points of charcoal selection you might find a few chuckles while reading about it.

Amazing what people will come up with. Talk about having too much time on your hands. :o

I hate to ask how you found this - so I won't.

Found it while visiting the forum for the Big Green Egg. There is a forum for everything these days. Even charcoal. If you find me visiting the Maytag Washer Forum, you will know I have too much time on my hands.

With the cold and rain today I might just go visit the Hot Buttered Rum forum.

I, as you know, have way too much time on my hands so I thought I'd visit a wash machine site in case you need it. They might do Maytags too.

Here's a site that might cover both. Grasshopper.

Scott you have to read the Tao all the way through to really appreciate it. The site also has really good reviews on charcoal.

Kurt I tried Samuari Appliance Repair once. It didn't work out. The blender seemed to get into smaller and smaller pieces.

 Happy New Year Auntie , Yep this thread could probably be removed from the sticky status, seeing as how we're well on our way to the 2009 season.
17 already for our May Gathering and working on a Tri State gathering for July/Aug. That will be a fun one.
