Del's second annual southern migration

Postby del » Mon Nov 10, 2008 2:58 pm

Hi folks yes it is time again. Will be leaving the Monday after Thanksgiving, but weather, (2 family visits in Kansas and 1 in Georgia) will make exact days hard to predict. If there is anybody en rout who would not mind a visit, let me know (and if someone does not mind me camping in their driveway, let me know to).

This link may be slow.
Hopefully the link fairy will shorten this link, please.

I am hoping this year to see Bonneville before dark, and see some new places also.

Thanks for your time, del

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

You're gonna miss me by about 800 miles but you're welcome to spend the night if you want to swing by. 8)
Might not be a lot warmer here tho.

Come on by and stay the night if you're coming through Alabama this year. You know where we live and if you've forgotten we can meet you at the interstate in Oxford. I want to see the changes in the Jelly Belly.

Later,
Dave

What happens if it is too cold to take pics? I love to travel, so the trek is fun.

800 miles is a bit out of my way, maybe someday. One day I would like to travel to all fifty states, maybe then, so far 34 down, and the bridge to Hawaii is still out.

Auntie M I wish I could say when I will be in the area, but I have two family visits to make in Kansas. Last year the Nevada camp out was enjoyable.

Hope to see you then. This year I updated the suby to include a navigation system so the address you gave last year should get me there.

Boy I think I said this before but you sure pick some cold weather to travel in. I sure hope all that insulation helps and isn't toxic or something......... :?

It didn't sound like after last year anyone was up to a cold weather campout in Nevada. Perhaps we need to cultivate a warmer place South.
