Ron's Beloved Gunports...

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Tue Aug 05, 2008 9:38 pm

Reading Ron's 4 Phase Redesign Plan, I became bummed out when he mentions installing new door windows. His Gunport Windows give his build character... I say keep 'em and letter 'em up with some appropriate signage...

Could he make 2 sets of doors one with the windows the other with the gunports so when it is cold and rainy use the gunports and when it is hot use the windows.

He could put a sign on the side that says Please don't feed the animals/occupants

So far the vote is 15-0 to keep them.

Label reading "Night Deposit" would be cool 8)

Parking outside banks at night would be optional. :D

I have the windows it will be going away. You should see it from the inside. Jailer Dean!!

I was thinking of puting a boat anchor on the back with a sign saying emrgancy brack.

I could put it back there with a black dowl sticking out of it with the words.

Why not?

Postby greekspeedoman » Wed Dec 10, 2008 2:24 pm

I like the gun ports. You should also add a turret gun and some antennas!

Seriously, I do like them. It is a nice unique feature. My only question is if there is another source of light for the interior.

that is an Idea but then if you look at my trailer my fron box would look like a mobile postal box and I would have to drop by the Post Office of each town.

Now if Uncle Sam could give me a paycheck to go with it, Maybe they would pay me to put there web site on my trailer.
Soon I would have a picture of Uncle Sam on the side saying he want you as well. And soon kids would be taking potshots at it in the woods.

Then I would have to change the name from boxkite to Mail Box.
