What to take list?

Postby toypusher » Sun Jul 31, 2005 10:14 am

I know that I saw a list of what to take camping on this site at one point, (or a link to a list) but I can't seem to remember or find it now. Does anyone else know where it is???

Yikes! I better finish updating that list! It was a work in progress that was never completed... I think I am missing the blender and margarita mix!

Seriously though it is still a bit of a mess... I'll get around to fixing it up come soon enough

Kate must have been quite the college student!

One thing, I'm really looking forward to when I complete my build is having all our camping gear in one place. Just add food, clothes and go.

I have a place out of state. I evolved a list of things to take when I go there.. it works well.

I've done the same thing for tear vacations... it also works well, in addition to the above mentioned one. It helps keep me from forgetting the things I forgot before adding them to the list........ and the lists are by area of house (upstairs, downstairs), then garage, then shed.... it is a huge help. I pack faster and don't worry about forgetting things.

It's normal clothing items, vitamins, etc.... but also includes things like electric toothbrush, laptop computer (for longer duration trips)..

Lots of mundane things, like jacket, dog food and so on, but it keeps me from worrying too much about "what did I forget)...
