Tears By The River 2

Postby tjx » Sat Feb 14, 2009 7:50 am

We have been asked to host Tears By the River 2 again by many of you, so here is the info.... :)

We are camping at Thomson Causeway run by the Core of Engineer on the Mississippi River and want to invite anyone
or everyone to come and join us the weekend of September 11-13th. This campground fills up fast. The cost is $16 per night.
Reservations can't be made until after March 1st...as there is a 6 month window.
We like the Hopi loop sites 99-125.
To reserve just go to: http://www.recreation.gov/ and type Thomson Causeway in the park or facility name. :vroom:

sorry, for those of you not familiar with our area, Thomson Causeway is in
Thomson, Illinois. This is a little town on the Mississippi River. It is approx 1 hour south of Dubuque Iowa
and 45 min north of the Quad Cities or Interstate 80.

That's great.

We were hoping that some of the sites that were filled already were other teardroppers.

It is a pretty campground with the river running beside it.

Hi guys -

Thanks for doing this . . . I'm in #99 again; I'll probably bring the dog this time.

It's been a long winter . . . .
