Did a little cabinet making today .






This little trailer is starting to come together .

I got the door for the cabinets framed and hung.





The left hand door opens inward and the center door opens tward the floor, I did this for ease of reaching things from outside the trailer with out having to get in the trailer.




The door on the left opens to the wall.
The cutout center section is for the camp chef stove when I buy it.

I spent yesterday finishing running the glass on the out side of the tepee,and sandinggggggggg and sanding to day
got my first coat of paint on her.







I am realy pleased with the finish I am getting its going to look factory.

Is there some slope to the roofline to drain the rain off?

The roof ribs are arched 3/4 inch ,the front and back edges flat.
The two center ribs are arched but have a 18 inch wide flat spot for the fantastic fan.

The Tepee is on hold for a few days. But it is a good thing has been raining for 2 days and looks like about 3 more
in the forecast. Dry as we are in Texas we will sure take it.

I've been following since day 1 and your build is looking good.

+1 on the rain. I'm in SW Louisiana and we are over 20 inches behind on moisture. Send some more rain this way.

I am going to like this.
Got a big mugg of coffee and walked outside and crawled in the Teepee to see if it had any leaks.
I had an electric heater inside there so I plugged it in . I was sitting there enjoying my coffee thinking about my wireing
and realized how nice it was ,warm rain beating on the roof,I wish I already had my matteress in here I would take a napp.
I was grinning like a kid with a new toy thinking bout cold miserable trips in tents I had taken,Thinking thats all over with now ,think I am going to love this little trailer.

My wife and I have slep in 27 degree overnight temps just fine, with no heater. Our breath and body heat was enough to make the Weekender comfy!

I dud pick up a 12V heater from Harbor Freight, just in case!

Floor, no, ceiling, yes. I decided the 4" foam mattress would be plenty good insulation for the floor.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it is in the 70 sun shinning ,back to work on the tepee.

No pics today but did get some done.
Hole cut in the roof fantastic fan installed
,bottom of trailer caulked
Installed the gasket on the door.
A week of rain got me to thinking(i know thats dangerous) I pulled the door off and put several coats of fiberglass resin on the edges and inside the door.
I will reinstall it tomorrow
Latches put on cabinet doors.
Wasn't to bad a day and we are going to have good weather tomorrow again
