Old Coleman Catalogs

Postby rainjer » Mon Mar 23, 2009 9:20 pm

These PDF's were posted on the Coleman site. I though I would share them here also.

1925 Coleman Catalog 37
looks like a salesman’s book on Quick-Lite products and how to sell them.

1930 Coleman Parts Catalog 22
is probably one of the best sources for schematics for all early Coleman Gas stuff.

1940 Coleman Products Catalog
is the general dealer catalog for 1940.

1942 Coleman Products Catalog
is the general dealer catalog for 1942.

1947 Coleman Annual Report
is the annual report on the company’s health. Pretty interesting read.

1965 Coleman Outing Products Manual
is a cache of information taken from a 1965 service man’s manual. It has a lot of history, repair and troubleshooting information. I skipped some of the sections such as advertising, suggested parts stock and how to repair a tent but included the important stuff. This was supplied to anyone who worked on any Coleman products. All new collectors need this reference.

Coleman Servicemans Handbook
is the 1940’s source for maintenance / repair instructions and tips.

1916 Coleman Lamp Catalog 35
is mostly hollow wire, but some of the first lamps and the Arc are present.

1916 Coleman Supply Catalog 26
is a catalog of mantles, globes and shades.

I really enjoyed perusing the 1942 product catalogue.

Made me think how nice a vintage camping photo section would be. I'd have to ask my mother for photos of our family camping heyday -- 1960s and 70s.

Thank you, Rainjer, for posting these.
