Anyone try shampoo bars for camping?

Anything to do with camping, fundamentals, secrets, etc...

Steve,
I heard The Tripper was whining about being cold at the Glyphs...

Dagny,
I've never heard of shampoo bars... Regular travel size (Trial size) shampoo bottles work good for me.

Well, Dagney, You convinced me to try that shampoo bar. At my age I am not sure anything will help, but I am always looking. I just ordered several samples of shampoo and soap bars, plus a bar for my dog. We need all the help we can get and after reading about them all, I decided to try some.

Thanks for letting us know about them.

If I buy a full sized bar, I cut in in 4 or 5 pieces and use them one at a time, saves space and soap. The others I place in the little paper bag they come in and place in a drawer of clothes. My clothes smell good for hours (I don't use fabric softener due to excema). Would be good to store in camper clothing.

The lotion bars make good lip balm too.
